Epileptic seizure

It all began in late April 2025. Just a moment earlier, my life had been following its usual rhythm, and then, without the slightest warning, I had a seizure. In an instant, everything changed.

The following days were marked by tests, consultations, and uncertainty. During the diagnostic process, the doctors discovered a lesion in my head.

In mid-May, I ended up on the operating table. I underwent a resection of a tumor in the temporal lobe, believing that this was the hardest part of my journey. Unfortunately, a few days later, another surgery was necessary, this time due to a hematoma in the surgical site.

Diagnosis and Outcomes of Surgery

The diagnosis came shortly afterward: a brain tumor—an astrocytoma with an IDH mutation. I remember the moment I heard those words. I felt fear, disbelief, and emptiness. In an instant, my plans, dreams, and sense of security ceased to matter.

The reoperation left me with aftereffects that I deal with every day. Today, I have weakness in my left arm and leg, as well as vision problems in my left eye. This means that even the simplest tasks, which I used to do without thinking, are now a huge challenge.

I'm currently waiting for a follow-up MRI, which is scheduled for the end of September.

Difficult everyday life

Ever since my diagnosis, my life has revolved around treatment. I’ve undergone chemotherapy and chemoradiation therapy. Each successive stage gave me hope, but at the same time sapped my strength. Now, the most important thing is to fight to regain my physical abilities and as much independence as possible.

I live with my wife and our little daughter. Not long ago, I imagined that I would carry her in my arms, play with her, and be there for every important moment of her childhood. Today, even changing her diaper is a huge challenge for me. I rely on my wife’s help for many everyday tasks. She’s the one who gives me strength and supports me every day.

I need some help

Before I got sick, I led an active life. I loved spending time at the gym and by the water with my fishing rod. Today, my biggest goal isn’t to return to my old passions, but to regain the physical ability that will allow me to walk on my own, function normally, and be there for my family.

Due to my health condition, I can't return to work. Every day involves intensive rehabilitation, which gives me a chance to get better, but comes with enormous costs. On top of that, there are expenses for transportation, a specialized diet, and supplements.

That is why I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for support. Every bit of help means the world to me. Every donation means another hour of physical therapy, another step toward independence, and the hope that I will once again be able to fully participate in the lives of my wife and daughter.
