She is a nurse herself, so she understands better than anyone what the words she heard mean, and yet no amount of medical knowledge could have prepared her for becoming a patient. Pamela is thirty-one years old and is battling advanced malignant cancer of the lower colon, which returned after her first round of treatment and has metastasized. Today, her greatest hope lies in modern targeted therapy, tailored to the specific mutation detected in her disease; unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance in Poland and is very expensive. It is precisely in gaining access to this treatment that Pamela needs our support.

Lilou is thirteen years old and doesn’t want to be seen as a sick child. She prefers to be who she really is: a girl full of life, music, and love for the world. And yet, for over two years, she has been fighting one of the toughest battles a child can face—against a highly aggressive soft-tissue cancer, stage IV rhabdomyosarcoma. Treated abroad, she recently learned that the disease has returned, this time threatening her eyesight and causing excruciating pain. Today, Lilou and her family are fighting for access to modern therapies and desperately need our support.

The disease has turned his world upside down. Dawid needs our support today so he can keep fighting and return to those ordinary moments with his family.

Some people talk about their battle with illness in terms of months. Bartłomiej counts it in years, because since 2017 he has been continuously battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which has gone into remission and returned repeatedly, despite successive treatments and transplants. Today, as the search for a donor for his next transplant continues, his family is facing an even greater challenge, because at the same time, his wife has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Bartłomiej needs our support today so that he can keep fighting and take care of his loved ones.
