Margaret is fighting malignant breast cancer

Margaret is still fighting her battle with cancer. As of December 4, 2023, she began treatment with a drug called Amebaciclib, which is scheduled to last until December 2025. As a result, she has to appear at the Oncology Center in Gliwice every two weeks, as batches of the drug are dispensed on a two-week time frame. In addition, our Warrior Woman has to undergo blood tests and have a consultation with her treating physician in order to be able to take the queued dose of the drug. In addition to the aforementioned Amebaciclib, Margaret also takes a number of other medications to offset side effects. In order to avoid complications related to the excision of lymph nodes, hand massages are essential. She is able to do some of the massages herself, but the use of a physical therapist is also needed. He has to use elastic sleeves on his hands, which have to be replaced once a quarter. The current prognosis is satisfactory, although Margaret's well-being is not always good. She tries to lead an active lifestyle and follow a proper diet, which is necessary when taking the aforementioned drug. The list of our heroine's needs has not changed, she still needs support in covering the costs of ongoing treatment and frequent travel to hospitals and doctors. July 22, 2024
