Another consultation and decisions before surgery

On September 3, Matthias underwent an orthopedic consultation along with a set of imaging tests on both legs. Doctors are now analyzing the results to make a decision on the planned -. thirteenth - left leg surgery. However, this is not the only concern.   Increasingly, the boy has begun to complain of pain in his right leg, which raises additional and justified concern.

Struggles not only with the body

In recent weeks, Maciek's autoimmune episodes have intensified. A psychiatric consultation was necessary, as a result of which additional tests were recommended and new medications were introduced.

Trouble with eyesight 

Follow-up eye examinations have shown that the optic nerve in the left eye has become paler, and the eye has begun to strabble and lose strength. There is a risk of further deterioration, so in addition to replacing the corrective glasses, daily exercises are needed to prevent complete loss of vision in the eye.

A road full of obstacles

Each subsequent consultation and diagnosis shows how complicated Maciek's disease is and how many areas of his health require simultaneous struggle. It is difficult to predict what tomorrow will bring, but one thing is certain: in front of Maciek and his loved ones are the next stages of the difficult road, in which the support and presence of kind people is essential. 04 September 2025 Maciek had been feeling worse for some time, so he and his mother went to the doctor. The test results turned out to be alarming. Near the clinic Maciek suddenly fainted, and his condition required immediate medical intervention. An ambulance was called, and on the way to the hospital he went into sudden cardiac arrest. He was out of cardiovascular and respiratory capacity, and resuscitation was necessary. After being transported to the hospital, he was taken to the intensive care unit. Further tests brought further dramatic news - numerous metastases were detected in Maciek's lungs, the largest of which is as large as 12 cm. His mother lives in constant fear for her son's life, uncertain of what the next day will bring. Due to the advancement of the disease, it is necessary to convene a medical consortium that will decide on Maciek's further treatment. He has a difficult road ahead, but there is still hope for the best possible solution. February 4, 2025
