Pain that no one associated with the disease
Initially, no one suspected cancer. The child's abdominal pain was of little concern. For several weeks Hania complained of complaints that were persistent but not intense. The parents consulted the symptoms and searched for answers. It wasn't until an ultrasound that was supposed to reassure - that a tumor was revealed. In an instant, everything changed.
Rapid diagnosis and immediate decisions
After the tumor was discovered, Hania was taken to a hospital in Walbrzych. From there, she was immediately transferred to the Cape of Hope in Wroclaw - a center specializing in treating pediatric cancers. Detailed diagnostics has begun to determine the type of cancer and plan treatment.
It started with abdominal pain, which no one linked to cancer
It is already known that Hania has a long and difficult road ahead in her fight for health.
Instead of everyday life - hospital reality
Not long ago, Hania spent her time walking in the woods, riding her bike, and her daily life was filled with caring for her beloved horse Mija. Now the world has closed in hospital rooms. Despite everything, every day she tries to find at least a small fragment of the old days in this new reality.
New financial challenges ahead for the family
Treatment is not just medical procedures. It's also everyday costs: medicines, specialized diet, rehabilitation, commuting to treatment. Each new day generates new expenses that are hard to predict and even harder to cover on your own.
