The treatment will last at least another year and a half. Unfortunately, his condition is still very serious. There was inflammation of the liver and painful ulcers in the mouth. The boy is practically all the time in the hospital, connected to IVs.

One study that changed Artem's entire life
The beginning of March was supposed to be an ordinary stage in a child's daily life for Artem. A routine checkup, needed only so that he could attend classes at the pool. He had not complained of any ailments, there was no indication that anything was wrong. One test, one result, and suddenly everything but Artem's life no longer mattered.
The disease came without warning
As a matter of urgency, Artem was taken to the pediatric hematology department. More tests were performed, including a bone marrow examination. The diagnosis was chilling: T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia - one of the most aggressive forms of blood cancer.
The disease progressed rapidly. Treatment could not wait.
A long and difficult road
Multi-stage intensive chemotherapy has begun, which will last at least two years. Depending on the body's response, a bone marrow transplant may be necessary. Whether this will be necessary, doctors will decide during the course of treatment. Every day is a huge challenge for Artem in his fight for life and a return to normalcy.
Needs that grow every day
The funds raised through the collection will be used to cover the cost of treatment, specialized diet, necessary supplementation and, at a later stage, rehabilitation and return to full fitness after treatment.
