Anna struggles to return to normal life

She found the tumor in her breast during a self-examination. She immediately went to the doctor, and a few days later she was after a mastectomy of the right breast with reconstruction including removal of the sentinel node.

These events took place in February 2022.

A few months later, new lesions in the healthy breast came out during an ultrasound, but the biopsy result was good, it turned out that the lesions were benign. Anna made the decision to have a prophylactic mastectomy of the other breast, but unfortunately, our charge sensed a lesion under the implant, the lesion turned out to be a recurrence and the tests carried out showed that it is an invasive cancer infiltrating "her2 positive (+3). it is very aggressive and quickly gives metastasis. Since it was quite small at the time of detection, the doctors decided to have surgery first and then targeted treatment. After post-operative tests, metastasis to lymph nodes was detected. The malignancy of the tumor had also changed to a much higher grade....

Treatment with chemotherapy has begun, with a total of 16 cycles, 4 very strong and 12 slightly weaker, with radiation therapy and hormone therapy at a further stage of treatment. Anna still has a long road to recovery, but we believe that further treatment will go well
