Explore the history of
Zaneta is a single woman raising three children.
The eldest of her children - her daughter - is 18 years old and is writing her high school diploma this year, in addition to which she also has two sons - 14 and 16 years old. At the end of 2023, in October to be exact, our Warrior Woman sensed a lump in her breast. After a wide range of tests, she heard the diagnosis - malignant breast cancer with metastasis to the lymph nodes.
Since then, the life of Zhaneta and her family has been subordinated to treatment. The Warrior herself will tell best about her experiences and needs:
"I'm raising three children alone - a daughter who is just writing her high school diploma and two sons aged 14 and 16. Adolescence is not the easiest age either. For the past six years I worked at a kindergarten, from which I left in October 2023 because I had another job in mind. As a condition of employment with the new employer, I had to register with the labor office, which I did. After receiving the grant in December, I was registered, but unfortunately I had to go on sick leave from January due to the consequences of chemotherapy treatment.
I received my first chemo on December 12 and my next dose on January 2. After this chemo, unfortunately, it was dramatic, after the third one I had an allergic attack and we had to change the frequency of treatment from 3-week intervals to weekly. This involved not being able to return to work, I had to stay on sick leave.
