Just a few months ago, Wiktoria’s daily life revolved around school, sports, music, and hanging out with friends. Today, her life looks completely different. Instead of a typical teenage life, she now faces hospital rooms, test results, isolation, and grueling treatment. In March 2026, Wiktoria received a diagnosis that turned her world upside down—acute lymphoblastic leukemia, type B.
The illness came on suddenly
The diagnosis came as a complete surprise. In March 2026, a very difficult battle for Wiktoria’s health and life began. From that moment on, her daily life revolved around the hematological treatment she received at the University Clinical Center in Gdańsk, following the specialized AIEOP BFM 2017 POLAND protocol. Right at the start of therapy, it was necessary to insert central lines, which allow for the administration of intensive treatment.

Devastating treatment and complications
Leukemia treatment is extremely taxing on the body. Wiktoria is struggling not only with the disease itself, but also with many complications that arose during treatment. These include Clostridium infection, COVID-19, erosive esophagitis, hiatal hernia, anemia, and neutropenia, which causes extreme susceptibility to infections. Every day requires immense strength and a battle against the body’s weakness. Even the simplest daily activities have become a major challenge for Wiktoria.
The illness robbed the teenager of her normal life
The cancer has completely changed Wiktoria’s life and that of her family. They’ve had to isolate themselves, give up seeing friends, and cut back on everything that used to be a normal part of their daily lives. Wiktoria’s siblings are also going through a very difficult time. There has been crying, a sense of helplessness, and attempts to find their footing in a new reality that no one was prepared to face.
Every day, the family tries to support Wiktoria in this incredibly difficult battle, even though they are all under immense stress and fear for her health.
She still dreams of returning to her normal life
Before she fell ill, Wiktoria loved sports, especially volleyball. She is also interested in rap music and history. Today, she spends most of her time undergoing treatment and trying to regain her strength.
The funds raised will be used to purchase medication, cover transportation to the hospital, and buy items that will help improve her daily life during her long-term treatment. We ask for your support for Wiktoria. Every contribution gives her a better chance at a more peaceful treatment process, regaining her strength, and returning to the life that her illness so suddenly took away from her.
