Explore the history of
It started innocently enough
At first there was only fever and headache. Although everything pointed to a common cold or viral infection, treatment did not improve.
Over time, new worrisome symptoms appeared: foot pain, loss of appetite, lethargy. Concerned parents decided to seek answers from specialists.
Blood tests performed at the hospital left no illusions. Behind the symptoms may be something much more serious than initially thought.
Diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukemia
In March, Tytus was brought to the Cape of Hope in Wroclaw. After a detailed diagnosis, the worst was confirmed: acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Intensive treatment began. Bone marrow harvesting, chemotherapy, daily drips, constant tests and hours spent in a hospital bed.
Everyday life turned into a wait: for more results, for a calmer day, for news that everything was going well.
Longing and childhood interrupted by illness
Titus is a boy who even in the hospital can disarm the atmosphere with a smile. He loves to build with blocks and play chess. It happens that he sits over the board for a long time, staring and focused as if the world outside the game does not exist. Today his favorite activities have been left at home, and with them everything he misses so much. For his little brother. For his beloved dogs. For the peace and quiet, for the moments without hospital sounds and without a vigil that doesn't even end for a moment.
Costs that are rising every day
Treatment is long, difficult and very expensive. On top of that, there is travel to the clinic, medication, diet, rehabilitation and specialized care. The family struggles daily not only with the disease, but also with financial reality.
Titus is a warrior - but he can't do it alone
Titus is only 10 years old and there is still so much ahead of him. We believe that soon he will be running, playing and laughing again like any boy his age. But for that we need your help!
Please! Help Titus regain his childhood interrupted by illness.
