Tymek's final straight. We support the rehabilitation of our Warrior❗. Tymek finished his intensive treatment in November 2023 and entered the maintenance treatment stage, which will last until April 2025. This is not the end of his struggle with the disease, as he still needs to have regular blood tests (once a week) and continues to take oral chemotherapy at home. He usually feels very well, and the demanding period he has gone through has had a marked effect, although there are also weaker days when he is bothered by headaches, abdominal pains or a general poor sense of well-being. In September, he will start going to "kindergarten", but due to his lowered immunity, he will unfortunately not be able to return to his kindergarten classmates for the time being. He will therefore start the school year on individual teaching at home. We keep our fingers crossed with all our might for the fearless Tymek, who is very bravely enduring the serious situation in which he finds himself. We also encourage you to support our Warrior, so that his family will be able to comfortably cover the costs of ongoing treatment, regular hospital visits or visits to specialists. July 25, 2024

Explore the history of

He was diagnosed with urinary tract inflammation and was discharged home after a few days with a recommendation for urinalysis after two weeks.

After that, the pediatrician additionally issued a referral for morphology tests, since the boy had a slightly lowered hemoglobin upon discharge from the hospital. Then began the hardest time in the life of Tymek and his parents.

The hemoglobin level was even lower. In a few days the tests were repeated and the result was even worse. Tymek was referred to another hospital, where the parents were reassured that it was definitely nothing serious and the boy was suffering from anemia. Once they diagnosed the cause, everything would be fine.

On the third day of their stay, the family was transported to "Cape of Hope" in Wroclaw with the information that further diagnostics was necessary, as the capabilities of that hospital had run out. In the "Cape" on the very first day the parents heard the diagnosis - acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Their world collapsed...

On March 30, Tymus began intensive chemotherapy treatment, which continues to this day. After three months he went home for the first time for a few days. Tymek is a very brave and smiling boy, full of energy. He loves to ride his scooter, play ball and swim. Unfortunately, some of these things are impossible at the moment. He misses kindergarten very much. In the clinic he has found himself sensationally, he participates in as many activities as the treatment allows. He also has a great relationship with the psychologist, physiotherapist and volunteers.

Tymek is very strong and believes that he will return to his life before the disease. We encourage you to support this special Warrior!
