Nazarii is awaiting surgery to cut out a dead bone fragment❗. The battle to save Nazarii's limbs continues. Unfortunately, the condition of the teenager's femur has not improved, and at the moment there is no longer any doubt that surgery will be required to cut out the dead bone fragment in his left leg. It will be replaced with an endoprosthesis. At the beginning of September, on the eighth day of the month to be exact, Nazar will go to the trauma and orthopedic surgery department. There are also many indications that this is only the beginning of the resolution of the health problems that have arisen as a result of leukemia treatment. Bone necrosis is progressing and surgery on the other leg is also planned for the future. Nazarii and his parents badly need support in this uneven fight. The surgery itself and the preparations for it are very stressful and costly, and after the surgery, a long and demanding rehabilitation will be necessary to get the teenager back to full fitness. Let's help this brave family get through this very difficult stage in their lives! Together we can cover the inevitable costs associated with the endoprosthesis insertion and Nazar's rehabilitation! Nazarii is fighting to be able to move on his own❗. Nazarii underwent further examinations in June 2024. An MRI of the hip bones unfortunately showed deterioration in their condition. Doctors recommended continued rehabilitation, but our protégé is most likely at risk of hip replacement surgery on the left side. The hope remains that the right side will not have to be operated on for the time being. The rehabilitation that the teenager requires is not reimbursed, and the cost of an hour of classes is an expense of about 220 zloty. Nazari's mother is doing what she can to support not only her own child, but also other patients at "Cape of Hope." In order to maintain financial liquidity, she asked to be employed at the clinic as early as 2022! She started working while continuing her son's chemotherapy and combined it with caring for our Warrior. Currently, Nazarii is staying at home and trying to endure the accompanying pain and learning to move around in a wheelchair. At the same time, his mother continues to care for the other families staying at the clinic. The brave teenager is not giving up, although none of the tests he is undergoing currently offer any hope of a cure.... Despite expensive rehabilitation, he faces major surgery. Nazar's parents are asking for help and are grateful for any support, as it is very hard for them. July 12, 2024

He was less than 15 years old at the time and had previously been a perfectly healthy child.
For both him and his parents, the diagnosis was a huge blow. He began treatment in a hospital in Lutsk, Ukraine. When the country was engulfed by war, the whole process of fighting the disease came into question. With Nazari's help came Poland and the "Cape of Hope" in Wroclaw.
It was here that the boy found shelter and help. Intensive chemotherapy brought results. The test results were getting better and better and the boy's parents hoped for their son's full recovery, but the joy was short-lived.

In March 2024, Nazar began experiencing severe pain in his hip bones. Ordered tests led to another diagnosis: sterile necrosis of two hip joints. The introduction of drug therapy proved impossible due to his history of oncological treatment. Very severe pain makes Nazarii practically unable to walk. He moves around in a wheelchair. The only solution is systematic and very expensive rehabilitation.
All of Nazari's parents' savings have already been used for his treatment. They are asking for any support that will help them save their son's health. A single class with a physiotherapist at the pool costs more than 200 zloty. In September the boy will be able to go to a sanatorium dedicated to children after cancer treatment, but until then he must undergo intensive rehabilitation, which his parents simply cannot afford.
Let's help our Warrior win another battle for health!
