Diagnosis
In December 2023, I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.
Decisions were made quickly. The doctors didn’t wait; they performed surgery to remove the tumor, followed by radical radiation therapy. That’s when the next battle began—not just for my health, but for my everyday life, for the things that had once seemed obvious and constant.
Side effects
Today, I remain under the constant care of oncologists and neurologists. Regular head MRIs have become a part of my life—quiet checkpoints that bring either relief or new questions.
I feel the effects of the treatment every day. After radiation therapy, I began having trouble with my memory. I was diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Bronchial asthma and epilepsy are other pieces of this puzzle that require vigilance and strength, even on the most ordinary days.
Difficult everyday life
Today, I can no longer do the work I loved with all my heart. My illness took that opportunity away from me suddenly and without warning.
These days, I spend most of my time at home. Even the simplest tasks can become a challenge: leaving the house, preparing a meal, cleaning up. Things I used to do automatically now require effort and patience. In those moments, I’m not alone. My loved ones are there to help me; they’re my support when the world gets tougher.
Children hold a special place in my life. They bring light to days that can be difficult. Their presence reminds me that, despite everything, there are still moments full of warmth and meaning, even when everything around me has changed.
I need some help
Before I got sick, my life was full of passion. Sports gave me energy and a sense of freedom, and cars fascinated me with their power and dynamism. I also loved animals; they were always a source of peace and true joy for me.
Today, however, my daily life looks very different. In addition to the struggle to stay healthy, the ever-rising cost of treatment poses a huge challenge. That is why I am asking with all my heart for your support on this difficult journey. Every bit of help means the world to me.
