Update

Luke continues his fight for recovery. He has already undergone eight cycles of chemotherapy, and he still has a lot of tests and follow-up MRIs ahead of him, which will allow him to monitor his health after a long and demanding treatment. Currently, our Warrior is undergoing very intensive rehabilitation, which takes place almost every day, and he has also had a rehabilitation camp. He feels good, is strong and determined, but there is still a long way to go before he is fully fit. The prognosis is fortunately positive. As his Dad says, "Luke is a positive and strong guy"! Luke is not giving up, but still requires intensive rehabilitation, supported by a high-protein diet. He has tremendous support among loved ones, family, friends and acquaintances. He believes that plenty of positive things are still ahead of him, so he is not giving up his fight! Let's help our protégé take the next, extremely important steps forward! August 5, 2024

At the end of September 2022, our Warrior developed the first worrisome symptoms in the form of a severe headache and vomiting.

Luke was taken to a doctor, where a CT scan was performed, which showed that there was a tumor in the back of his head. Two weeks later, Luke was out of surgery to remove the tumor, a section of which was sent for histopathological examination.

Unfortunately, the test result was devastating - medulloblastoma stage IV malignancy. A decision was immediately made to treat it with chemotherapy. For several weeks, Lukasz underwent proton therapy at a Krakow oncology clinic. After its completion, chemotherapy treatment continues. Lukasz still has a long way to go to regain full health, but our Warrior is highly motivated to fight the disease and we are sure that recovery is only a matter of time!

Every donation, even the smallest, is important and will greatly improve Luke's treatment and increase his chances of returning to a normal life!
