Lila is making progress - but the road is still long ❗ Lila is currently undergoing maintenance treatment and is permanently in the loving care of a foster family. Every day is another step toward a better future for her. Thanks to regular rehabilitation and the great commitment of her caregivers, the girl is making clear progress in her motor development. However, she still needs intensive therapeutic support to catch up intellectually and work through difficult experiences. Unfortunately, her weakened immune system leads to frequent infections, which not only prevent contact with peers, but also regularly interrupt rehabilitation. Any help makes a real difference - it allows Lila to continue her treatment, strengthen her body and mind, and move closer to her desired independence. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for every donation, good word and presence. Together we can give Lili health, strength and hope. July 28, 2025 In October, Lila left "Cape of Hope" after more than 10 months of stay and returned to her foster parents' home. She quickly adapted to her new environment, enjoying the closeness of her caregivers. She is currently on maintenance treatment, but must remain in isolation due to her lowered immune system. The effects of intensive treatment and previous neglect have affected her development, but thanks to regular rehabilitation, Lila is making good progress - she has learned to crawl, walks with assistance and is better able to eat. Despite her difficulties, she has become a joyful, energetic child, eager for contact with people. Her determination and will to live fill her with hope that she will overcome all obstacles and recover. January 10, 2025 Lila has found new parents and with their support continues her fight❗. Lila recently celebrated her first birthday! Unfortunately, for most of her short life she has been fighting a very serious disease - acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Wroclaw's "Cape of Hope" clinic still remains her "home". Life does not spare her not only in terms of health. Due to the lack of caring parental care, she has developed severe developmental delays. Fortunately, thanks to the tremendous commitment of the management and staff of "Cape of Hope", we were able to find foster parents for our extremely brave Warrior! Loving caregivers are now learning with great dedication and patience all hospital procedures and with great care accompanying Lila in these extremely difficult moments. Treatment is not easy, on top of all this there is the arduous therapy of early developmental support. Lilianka's new parents are in great need of support and very much deserve it! They have undertaken a noble mission in which they deserve full support! Let's help Lila and her new family not only to overcome the cruel disease, but also to create for the tiny Warrior girl wonderful conditions full of love and warmth. Tiny Lila has a chance for her fate to change. We believe that the help of kind Donors will bring further positive results. We encourage you to support them! We ask for them wholeheartedly on their behalf. August 13, 2024
