Update
Laura has already completed the inpatient phase of treatment and is now under ongoing oncological care, continuing maintenance therapy in the form of oral chemotherapy. This treatment is scheduled until September 2026, and aims to consolidate the results so far and minimize the risk of relapse. Our client undergoes regular weekly blood tests, the results of which are closely monitored by doctors. In the event of a drop in blood parameters, hospitalization and blood transfusions may be necessary - a common part of care with this type of therapy. Laura is also preparing to begin rehabilitation to help her regain full physical fitness after a long period of treatment. Fortunately, the treatment so far has gone without major complications, and Laura's body has responded well to the treatment - which allows us to look to the future with cautious optimism. We believe that Laura is already on the final straight of her road to health and full strength. September 20, 2024

Her skin turned pale, appetite problems appeared, and the girl became tired very quickly.
Concerned parents went with Laura to the family doctor and told him of their concerns. The doctor referred them to the hospital for a blood count. The test results only intensified the worrying signals and our little Warrior was taken to a hospital in Gdansk. After a number of detailed diagnostic tests, a shocking diagnosis emerged - B-type acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
From that point on, everything moved at lightning speed, as there was not a moment to lose. Chemotherapy, which was scheduled for two years, began immediately. Depending on the periodic test results, doctors will make decisions on the form of treatment.
This is just the beginning of the long and challenging road that Laura's parents and our brave Warrior have to go through. However, we believe that with our joint efforts we can support this family in the uneven battle they are facing. We encourage you to support Laura and show her that she is not alone in this fight!
