Update
It has just been one year since Julci❗'s last bone marrow transplant.
The results are currently stable, so the girl spends most of her time at home. Despite the very hard road, we all hope that the long-awaited happy ending to the fight against the disease has finally arrived. October 31, 2024Julia faces complications after three bone marrow transplants❗
Brave Julka is still fighting a merciless opponent - acute myeloid leukemia. Despite years of treatment, she is still not in remission. Currently, her life depends on platelet transfusions and neupogen injections to help offset the decline in leukocytes and granulocytes. In addition, our Warrior Woman has been "attacked" by another very challenging rival -. Skin graft, or so-called graft versus host with skin involvement.Julia has already undergone three transplants, and has been fighting her battle with the disease since 2019.
Despite many dangerous and painful complications, she maintains a positive mood and the smile never disappears from her face. She is a true Warrior and her steadfast attitude inspires other clinic patients. Still, she is in dire need of support - both mentally, in the form of a kind word, as well as financially, to continue her extremely complicated and aggravating treatment. Let's help Julia take the next steps on her road to recovery! Let's not let her years of effort go to waste! July 25, 2024

This was not a story to be repeated
When they first heard the diagnosis, everything stopped. Time, breathing, plans, everything suddenly ceased to matter.
Acute myeloid leukemia. At the time, Julia still hoped that this was just a phase to get through. That five blocks of chemotherapy, maintenance treatment and months spent between home and hospital would end the story.
By May 2021, everything was going well. But cancer never works according to a script. He returns when you least expect him.
Second round. Different opponent, same life at stake
The disease has returned. Quietly, insidiously and without warning. Preparations for the battle took months. An unrelated bone marrow donor had to be found. Time was running out, and Julia was losing strength day by day. Finally, in mid-October, the transplant was scheduled. One of those moments when the whole family holds its breath and looks at only one indicator. The marrow was accepted. Julia began to smile. She talked about the future again. And then came what no one could bear anymore. At the end of 2022, it all came back.
The disease attacked a second time. Another renewal. Another hope put to the test. Again chemotherapy. Again the drugs, this time also Mylotarg - strong, debilitating, but necessary. Again preparations for the transplant.
Third recurrence. And one doesn't even know what to say anymore
In July 2023, Julia's world stopped for the third time. The tests were unequivocal - the cancer had returned.
Julia was again taken to the "Cape of Hope", where treatment was once again started. Again chemotherapy. Again the pain. Again unanswered questions. There was no more room for dramatic words, only the decision to keep fighting.
And at home - life that must wait
Julia's mother gave up her job to be by her daughter's side every day. The house is divided into two parts: the one in the hospital room and the one where the siblings are waiting. They miss, but understand. Julia's family does everything it can, but not everything can be carried alone.
Treatment, commuting, daily needs, mental support, moments of relief - it all costs money. And yet Julia still has a chance. She can still live!
