Regular check-ups and treatment
Henio remains under the care of Przylądek Nadziei (Cape of Hope) in Wrocław, where Every four months, he undergoes comprehensive examinations at the pediatric hematology and oncology ward. Abdominal and craniofacial ultrasound scans and magnetic resonance imaging are performed regularly. Sometimes, stays in the pediatric ophthalmology ward are also necessary. Currently, Henryk is also Preparing for surgery to remove the third tonsil at the hospital on Borowska Street in Wrocław.
Care provided by many specialists
Due to the nature of the disease Henryk is under the constant care of many doctors and therapists. He is consulted by a pediatric neurologist, ENT specialist, ophthalmologist, pediatric orthopedist, and pediatric surgeon, among others, due to his clubfoot and knee deformities. In addition, he is supported by a psychologist, speech therapist, and allergist. For some time now, Henryk has been regularly attending therapy at the Association for People with Disabilities in Wołów. Twice a week, he participates in sensory integration classes, meetings with a psychologist, and comprehensive rehabilitation. The therapy is beginning to show its first results. Among other things, a gradual reduction in muscle tension is noticeable. Henryk also participates in emotional competence classes and speech therapy sessions, which he attends regularly.
Everyday life with treatment
Henio takes the non-refundable drug Koselugo twice a day at a dose of 25 mg. as well as medications for allergies and ENT problems.
Small successes that bring joy
Despite the difficulties of treatment, Henio tries to just be a child. He recently took part in a soccer tournament, where he came in third place and returned home with a medal and a ball. It is a small but very important success that brings him joy, and he wanted to share it with you. Thank you for being there for Henio and his family. We ask for your continued support, which is very important on this long and demanding journey. December 16, 2025 Henio currently visits Cape of Hope for tests. After his last MRI scan, it turned out that the tumor had shrunk by as much as 20%. This news was very welcome. We are hoping for more good news. Despite the good news about the tumor shrinking, his parents learned that the cost of treatment may increase significantly. During the spring and summer, Henio bravely fought through a rehabilitation program that helped him in his daily functioning. Let's remember that his muscle tension makes even the simplest activities difficult. In order for our little warrior to be able to move well, he needs constant rehabilitation. He even managed to start sensorobotics classes, which improve the muscles of the hands. January 3, 2025

Although he began comprehensive treatment for this non-malignant cancer in February 2023 under the guidance of specialists at the "Cape of Hope" clinic in Wroclaw, Henio's life and that of his parents are subordinated to the rigors of treatment, visits to the clinic and check-ups with specialists.

The boy attends dog therapy classes, and is also under the care of a psychological-educational counseling center in Brzeg, where his fate is watched over by, among others, a psychologist and a speech therapist. Rehabilitation with dogs is reimbursed by the Municipality, although it is uncertain how long this will continue.

Despite his very young age, he has undergone a number of specialized examinations, such as an MRI scan and eye, cardiac and ENT checks. Essential to beating the cancer is Henio's regular intake of the drug Koselugo, one pack of which costs several to several thousand euros.

Due to the potential appearance of side effects of taking Koselugo, Henio remains under the control of doctors from the "Cape of Hope" day unit in Wroclaw. The possible occurrence of such would result in a worsening of his condition and a longer stay in the hospital.

Henia's parents need support to cover the cost of ongoing treatment, doctor's visits and the cost of travel to clinics, as well as the purchase of personal hygiene products. Let's help Heni and his parents during this difficult time.
