Update
Fabian is fighting, although the prognosis is uncertain❗. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia attacked Fabian's body when he was only eight years old. A year older, the Warrior is still battling a rogue adversary. He is currently receiving maintenance chemotherapy. The boy's prognosis is uncertain. He has developed serious complications from the treatment - he suffers from sterile necrosis of the knee joints, so he has to use a wheelchair and save his legs. Fabian is waiting for further treatment to be scheduled. In the meantime, he has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which necessitates more medication. Our Warrior still has a long way to go to return to full fitness. The necrosis that has attacked his joints prevents Fabian from functioning normally. Once the ailment is cured, long-term rehabilitation will be necessary to catch up with the treatment. We encourage you to support the brave boy and his equally brave Mom! August 27, 2024

Since then, he has practically been living with his mother at the Supra-Regional Pediatric Oncology Center in Wrocław.
It all started in March 2023. Fabianek had a fever for five days. He had a cough and couldn't walk. His mother took him to the doctor, who ordered a series of tests.
The results were very bad. After reading them, a decision was made to transport Fabian and his mother by ambulance to the "Cape of Hope" hospital in Wrocław – and they have been in the hospital ever since. Fabian is receiving chemotherapy and has a Broviac catheter.
The treatment makes the boy feel unwell, his mucous membranes are "burnt out" and he had to be fed intravenously for some time. He is given blood, platelets, and various medications necessary for the treatment process. His stay in the hospital will last for a long time. Another round of chemotherapy has damaged Fabian's mucous membranes again. Once again, he is unable to eat.
The boy's mother asks for any help she can get and is very grateful for every bit of it. She wrote a few words addressed to all donors:
"With all our hearts ♥️, thank you: me and my son."
