Update

Radiation therapy has been completed, although unfortunately it was not possible to complete it to the full extent originally planned. Agnes is currently on maintenance therapy. Every three weeks she takes Herceptin in the form of an intramuscular injection in her thigh. In parallel, she is undergoing hormone therapy, which, according to doctors' recommendations, will last at least five years, and may continue for up to a decade if necessary. To prevent possible metastasis to the bones and to strengthen their structure, Agnieszka is also given zolendronic acid. Our client participates in regular rehabilitation to strengthen her body in general and improve her quality of life after intensive cancer treatment. Fortunately, the results of the check-ups so far are good - which gives hope and strength to continue the fight. November 18, 2024

Explore the history of

Agnes is very bravely undergoing demanding chemotherapy treatment.

Four of her six scheduled cycles of chemotherapy are already behind her, and imaging studies, CT scans, ultrasounds and a number of other diagnostic tests show that there is no spread of the disease through the body. This is great news, as the treatment is yielding positive results.

Our Warrior has two more scheduled cycles of chemotherapy ahead of her. If all goes as planned, the therapy will come to an end and doctors will determine the next treatment path - depending on Agnieszka's condition.

The heroine believes with all her might in the success of the treatment and does not intend to give up! She also sends some positive energy and a smile to all those who have decided to support her fight for life and would like to thank them for their empathy. We keep our fingers crossed for the next steps on the road to health and once again encourage you to support Agnieszka!

Agnes' story begins in January 2024. Due to breast pain, she decided to have a follow-up mammogram, which was performed about a month later. The test results came in March and showed a half-centimeter cancerous lesion. At this point, it was no longer possible to delay and Agnieszka was referred to a hospital in Szczecin for extended diagnostics.

A biopsy and an ultrasound were performed at the clinic. The results of the histopathological examination left no illusions - it was cancer infiltrating the breast. However, ultrasound showed several diffuse cysts of 8.5mm in the left breast, in the right breast subcutaneous edema and hypoechoic thickening in the periareolar region, as well as lesions on the lymph nodes.

On April 25, 2024, a medical consultation took place in Szczecin, during which Agnieszka was diagnosed with malignant inflammatory neoplasm of the right breast. Systemic treatment with chemotherapy in six cycles, every three weeks, was established. If the chemotherapy works as planned and the lesions diminish, our Warrior will undergo a mastectomy of the right breast, after which radiation therapy and immunotherapy will probably also be needed.

Due to the treatment she is undergoing, Agnieszka's immunity is severely compromised and she often catches various infections. The funds raised at the fundraiser will be used to cover the cost of ongoing treatment, travel to hospitals, visits to specialists, as well as subsequent rehabilitation. Let's join forces to help this strong and energetic woman return to full health!
