A holiday that changed everything

In February 2025, Nikola was supposed to simply enjoy the holidays, enjoy the carefree feeling that youth gives, and believe that the best was yet to come. Instead, came a diagnosis that burst into her life without warning. The lymphoma appeared quietly, but with a force that from the first moment she couldn't catch her breath. Since then, the teenager's daily life has been a hospital bed, IVs and pain that takes away the strength to even get up.

There is always a grandmother by the bedside

Three months of illness and three cycles of chemotherapy behind Nikola. Every day, by her bedside, there is her beloved grandmother, with whom she went to the hospital when it all started. The same one who cuddles her at night when the pain doesn't let her fall asleep, and who is next to her when the treatment takes away the rest of her strength.
It is thanks to her that Nikola finds the strength for each new day's struggle.

They have a long way to go

Although there's a lot behind Nikola, things are really just beginning. More cycles of chemotherapy, more tests, more expenses that pile up every day. The girl's family is unable to shoulder this burden alone. Support is needed to be able to focus on what matters most: saving lives.
