Chemotherapy failed to stop the osteosarcoma❗Thelimb had to be amputated....
Until a few weeks ago, we were full of faith that Marcel's leg could be saved. Unfortunately, the disease was merciless. Doctors had to make the dramatic decision to amputate his left limb. The surgery is behind him, but he faces further treatment in the form of post-operative chemotherapy. Next is rehabilitation and learning to live again.
Marcel, despite the pain and the huge change, does not lose his spirit. He is very brave!

Due to the situation, we are increasing the collection goal to 300,000 PLN, to provide him with specialized further treatment, rehabilitation, prosthetics and everything that will help him regain fitness.
Explore the history of
From a roller-coaster fall to a chilling diagnosis
Last summer Marcel spent his time like most teenagers - active, among friends, full of energy and with a smile on his lips. When he took an unfortunate fall while rollerblading, no one imagined that at that moment the drama began. Initially, the blame was attributed to torn tendons. Treatment - conservative. Ointment, rest and hope for a quick recovery....
But the pain did not subside, and the anxiety in the hearts of those closest to him grew stronger. The New Year brought more tests, and with them the doctor's words: "This looks alarming." In February, a biopsy put the final, painful dot - osteosarcoma.
Fighting in the Cape of Hope
Since March, Marcel has been under the constant care of doctors at the Cape of Hope in Wroclaw. Behind him are the first cycles of chemotherapy, ahead of him - months of treatment to stop the cancer from growing. Every day is a battle with pain, side effects and longing for a normal life.
