During treatment, it became necessary to remove the right eye, which was occupied by cancer.

After the removal surgery, further treatment went well. Every few months it was necessary to replace the epiprosthesis and properly care for the orbit. Replacement and treatments cost up to several thousand zlotys.

At the end of 2023/2024, another surgery was necessary. The eye socket under the prosthesis was abraded, and it was also necessary to check the implant. The funds raised during the collection will be used to replace the eye epiprosthesis. Due to the fact that Maja is growing all the time such replacement is necessary every few months.
