I am interested in mathematics, physics, biology and fashion - I like to combine different styles and experiment with clothes.
Science makes me happy, but people are equally important to me - friends, family and shared moments. My health story began when I was four years old - that's when I was diagnosed with Wilms' tumor on both kidneys. Since then, I have been undergoing regular check-ups at Cape Hope. Unfortunately, in January 2025, during a routine checkup, doctors noticed a disturbing lesion on my left kidney.
It was a difficult moment - memories from years ago came back. After an MRI and biopsy, Wilms' tumor was confirmed to be reoccurring. I started chemotherapy in preparation for surgery. The treatment was not easy, but I tried to stay strong and focused. The surgery is behind me - the lesion was successfully removed.
Now before me is the next long stage of treatment - 28 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Physically I feel better and better, although it all costs a lot of strength. I really miss normal life, school, volleyball, meeting friends. I would like to return to everyday life as soon as possible, which now seems even more precious to me than before.
However, I have loved ones around me who support me, and this gives me great strength. I know I still have a lot ahead of me, but I believe that in time I will return to health and to everything I love.
