Shocking diagnosis

Initially, additional consultations, an MRI and a biopsy were needed. After two months of tests, including analysis by foreign specialists, a final diagnosis was made - hepatoblastoma, a very rare liver tumor, usually found in children.

Fighting for a chance at less invasive surgery

The tumor is located in an intermediate surgical site. In order for it to be safely removed, chemotherapy is required to reduce its size.

Rare liver cancer - hepatoblastoma

Otherwise, doctors will be forced to remove half of Celinka's liver. The family believes the treatment will work and avoid such extensive surgery.

The plan is for 2-3 cycles of chemotherapy, each 4 weeks apart. Only after these will it be possible to decide on further surgical treatment.

Your help is its strength

Every day is a fight for Celinka's health and future. Your support can help her get through treatment, gain a chance for a life-saving surgery and return to a carefree childhood.
