Thrombocytopenia threatens Ola's life ❗ HELP❗

Signals that could not be ignored

One day a small and inconspicuous rash appeared on Ola's legs. The first thought - infection. But when bleeding from the gums appeared for no apparent reason, and scabs appeared on the face, which could not be explained by something everyday, it became clear that something in the girl's body began to get out of control. The parents did not wait. The family doctor, moved by the image of the child, did not hesitate for a moment and issued an immediate referral to the hospital.

Frightening diagnosis

Ola, in a hospital bed, under the watchful eye of doctors, spent a week. Unfortunately, every glimmer of hope, was extinguished faster than it managed to ignite.

When it seemed that the situation was stabilizing, things took a dramatic turn. Increasing levels of blood cells, in the next test they again fell dramatically. The diagnosis was unequivocal: thrombocytopenia. Later that day, Ola was referred to the Cape of Hope Clinic in Wroclaw.

The battle has begun

After weeks of uncertainty and helpless attempts to control Ola's condition, proper treatment has begun. Every day is now an effort by doctors, parents and the girl herself - to bring the body back into balance. Fighting thrombocytopenia isn't just about numbers on blood results - it's about daily vigilance, being careful with every bruise and taking care of every detail. In this new reality, Ola and her loved ones are learning to live again - with hope and caution, but also with increasing strength.
