Treatment completed, but it's not the end of the fight
Adrian has completed cycles of chemotherapy. This is an important milestone and a reason to breathe, but not for peace of mind. Final tests showed trace amounts of cancer cells, so our fighter remains under close oncological monitoring. Every month he undergoes full diagnostic imaging, including an MRI and PET scan, to catch any recurrence of the disease as soon as possible.Thrombosis, thyroid and vision problems
This is not the end of the challenges Adrian has to face. One of the many complications of oncological treatment is a diagnosed thrombosis of the veins of the lower extremities, which requires urgent angiological consultations and constant monitoring with ultrasound examinations. At the same time, thyroid disorders were revealed. Constant endocrinological care and precise adjustment of treatment are necessary. Emerging eye disorders may be the result of oncological treatment. This is another area that requires specialized diagnosis and care. July 14, 2025
Explore the history of
The study, which no one feared, opened the door to oncology.
It was an innocent-looking change. A small, visible spot that didn't look threatening. Routine measures, that is, a visit to the GP to simply check it out, just for the sake of sanity. After a brief consultation, a referral was made to the urology-surgery department, where further tests were performed. Material was taken for histopathology and it was decided to remove the lesion.
The result, which they were anxiously awaiting, brought news that broke the peace of mind of the entire family. The diagnosis confirmed the presence of malignant testicular cancer, which had already managed to spread to the lymphatic system.
A diagnosis that does not allow you to return to a normal life
Just two weeks after the operation, Adrian was referred to "Cape of Hope" in Wroclaw, where he began treatment under the guidance of specialists. At the clinic, additional tests were performed to determine as precisely as possible the path of further therapy, and then the first cycle of chemotherapy was implemented . Since then, Adrian's life has been filled with hospital procedures, tests, treatments and questions to which no one knows clear answers.
Fortunately, Adrian is not alone in this struggle
Adrian's biggest support is his older brother, with whom he shares common passions. It's a very strong brotherly bond. His brother is by his side whenever there is anxiety, silence or just plain tiredness. It is this quiet presence that gives Adrian a strength that cannot be measured by any parameter. Their relationship becomes a refuge in a world full of medical terms and difficult procedures.
He has a long and expensive road ahead
Although Adrian is not losing hope, he still has many challenges ahead: more treatment cycles, tests, perhaps further interventions.
The family is focused on creating the best conditions for his recovery, but costs are rising every week.
Funds are needed for medications, commuting, consultations, hygiene products and everything that cannot be predicted until it becomes necessary.
