Adaś is battling abdominal and chest malignant cancer

Another challenge on the road to health

During follow-up examinations, after completing oncological treatment, doctors found Adas had an undescended testicle - known as cryptorchidism, requiring surgical intervention. The boy underwent an orchidopexy procedure, which succeeded in restoring the correct position of the testicle. Currently it is necessary to perform the operation also on the other side, to prevent possible complications and ensure the boy's normal development. October 29, 2025 Brave Adaś is waiting for the date of the next tests and faces a constant subfebrile state❗. After tests performed in March 2024, with the doctors' approval, Adaś could finally return home! Now the boy comes with his parents to "Cape of Hope" for follow-up MRIs, held every three months. Each time Adaś's tumor is checked, as well as the spinal space, where a fragment of the tumor remains, which could not be cut out surgically. At the current stage of treatment, the tumor our protégé is carrying has not shrunk, but it has not grown either. Although the last cycle of chemotherapy took place in January 2024, at present doctors cannot find the cause of the constant feverish condition. The boy's parents are waiting for the date of the next PET scan, after which, we hope, Adas's future will become a little brighter and the next steps will be taken. October 1, 2024 Adaś has undergone surgery to remove the tumor and is continuing treatment❗. Adaś recently turned 2 years old. The life of this brave toddler is going on in hospitals. Instead of playing and growing, he is fighting a very malignant cancer. In 2023 he underwent 4 cycles of chemotherapy. On February 1, 2024, Adasi had the tumor excised. At the moment, the boy is staying with his parents at the Children's Health Center in Warsaw, for tests. He will soon return to the "Cape of Hope" in Wroclaw for further tests, based on which it will be known what to do next. March 13, 2024
