Update
Robert has beaten cancer and is fighting to get back to normal❗. Robert recently underwent comprehensive tests, after which he heard fantastic news - the PET result means that he is clean and has recovered! He can slowly return to normalcy and the physical form he had before his illness! He is overjoyed that he is better now and can finally go to the pool or jog without stress on the school field. Robert is very proud of himself, and we are extremely proud of his determination, courage and strength to fight, which he has never lacked! In his head looms dreams, plans and ideas that he would like to realize in the future. Most importantly - he is finally free of the disease and can start living! He will still, of course, have to regularly check his health and undergo follow-up MRIs, among other things. At the moment, however, the news is beautiful - Robert's body is FREE FROM cancer! Ahead of our Warrior is still a long and demanding rehabilitation to restore his body to full physical form. To this end, Robert has started working with a physiotherapist, exercises on his own, and attends sports classes organized by our foundation. We are keeping our fingers crossed for this extremely strong teenager, who is already very close to the coveted final! We helped Robert get through treatment, let's now help him get back in shape! Robert has a VACATION of the disease❗. After several months of struggling with cancer, it seemed that Robert would beat the disease. However, in early December 2023, the teenager's world "collapsed" for the second time. He heard that he had a recurrence. At first he broke down, but soon decided that he would not give up so easily. He decided to send a message to everyone to never lose hope, because the fight is worth it! "At the beginning of December, my world collapsed for the second time, as something worrisome came out in a check-up. A month later I found out that the disease had recurred. At first I broke down a lot, because I was convinced that I would soon return to a normal life, school and peers. After a moment of breakdown, I understood the gravity of the situation and know that I have to be strong. I must continue to fight so that everything will return to normalcy and that I will make a full recovery. Therefore, I would like to convey to everyone that you should never lose hope and that you should never give up, because the fight is worth it!" March 13, 2024

Meet brave 14-year-old Robert, who recently became another patient of the Supraregional Children's Oncology Center in Wroclaw, called the "Cape of Hope." This is how he described his story to us:
"On my 14th birthday, which was July 6, 2023, I was hospitalized in the hematology and oncology department in Wroclaw with suspected lymph node cancer. The next day I was given a number of specialized tests. The news of the suspicion of such a severe disease was very upsetting for me.
It turned out that instead of enjoying the vacations and planning to spend time with family and friends, I would have to stay in the hospital, where I would face long-term treatment. After receiving the results of all the tests, it turned out that I have a malignant cancer of the lymph nodes called Hodgkin's lymphoma C81.1. I realize that this is a serious disease, but I am not giving up. I will fight to make a full recovery and return to normalcy."
Let's help Robert and his family in this fight!
