Update
Przemek returned to the ward.
After two years of struggle, pain, and immense hope for recovery, Przemek returns to the hospital. Fortunately, it is not for another round of chemotherapy, but for a check-up, i.e., tests to determine the condition of his body and whether everything is moving in the right direction. It is a tense moment. Waiting for answers to the questions asked. Will the results be good? Has his body coped with what it has been through?Waiting that leaves you breathless
These are moments that haunt us. Fear mixes with hope, and every minute of waiting brings back memories. For Przemek's loved ones, it is a return to emotions they would like to forget.Keep your fingers crossed for him!

Symptoms that wouldn't go away
Winter break. It was supposed to be great, but then came the flu. The fever didn't go away despite the antibiotics. When weakness set in, it wasn't yet a cause for concern—after all, fever weakens the body. Other symptoms, such as a rash and bruises on the body, were explained by the parents as an allergy to the medication, which can also happen during antibiotic treatment.
However, Przemek's condition continued to deteriorate. His pallor and increasing fatigue prompted his family to consult their family doctor again. The decision was made to refer the teenager to the hospital.
After preliminary tests, doctors diagnosed him with acute B-cell lymphoblastic leukemia. Within just three hours, Przemek was transported to Przylądek Nadziei (Cape of Hope) in Wrocław.
Therapy that confines you within four walls.
After being admitted to the hospital, treatment began immediately. The results were very poor. Chemotherapy was used and Przemek was qualified for targeted treatment.
Since then, he has been connected to a drug pump. Each cycle lasts three months – without interruption, without the possibility of leaving the room. Even a short walk is impossible, because interrupting the therapy could be harmful.
Przemek is closed off – literally and emotionally. Isolated, in a room full of equipment, he struggles with loneliness, boredom, and pain. And yet he does not lose his strength – he knows that this fight is for everything.
The world he loves so much is behind hospital glass
He rode a high-performance bike, went fishing, spent hours doing DIY, and met up with friends. Today, his everyday life consists of the silence of a hospital room, closed doors, and the sound of equipment that drowns out conversation.
His passion, energy, and need for action had to give way to treatment. It's hard to accept when you're 15 and have such a great appetite for life.
Your support is not just financial assistance! It is a sign that Przemek is not alone.
