Despite these difficulties, our brave protégé retains a tremendous will to fight, remaining an energetic and curious boy. His determination and strength of spirit exemplify great courage in the face of illness, which inspires all those around him. The boy does not give up and faces the challenges posed by the disease every day.
In the process of treatment, Olivier has already undergone a number of difficult and painful procedures. In July 2024, the entire right kidney had to be removed, a key step in the fight against cancer. A few months later, after closer examinations, it became clear that the cancerous lesions that had developed in his lungs would also need to be removed.
Starting in August 2024, the boy began chemotherapy, which is an essential part of the fight against the disease. Chemotherapy is an intensive treatment that aims to destroy cancer cells and prevent the cancer from spreading further. Olivier is struggling with numerous side effects of the therapy, such as a weakened body, hair loss and reduced immunity
Our hero still has a long road of treatment and rehabilitation ahead of him. He is struggling not only with the physical effects of the disease, but also with the emotional difficulties that come with such a serious condition at such a young age. The next stages of treatment include further chemotherapy sessions, monitoring of his condition, and supportive measures to combat possible relapses.
The funds that will be raised through the collection will be used to cover the necessary costs of treatment and rehabilitation. Among other things, the funds will be used for ongoing treatment in the hospital, travel to medical facilities, as well as private visits to specialists who will provide the boy with the best medical care. In addition, the funds will be used to provide the proper diet and supplementation needed to maintain strength during intensive therapy. Rehabilitation, which will take place after the main stage of treatment is completed, will also require significant financial resources in order for Olivier to fully recover and lead a normal life.
