Oleksandr is a boy full of energy, passion and an extraordinary will to live.
From an early age he was interested in sports - he trained kickboxing, played soccer, skated and loved field hockey. In addition to sports, he discovers artistic talent - he loves to draw and create, and his greatest passion is traveling. He is particularly fascinated by the seas and exploring mysterious caves. His big dream is to become a firefighter to help others and be a hero.
He is also a wonderful big brother to his one-year-old little sister. Despite his illness and numerous challenges, he always finds time to play with her, infecting her with his joy and caring.
The road to diagnosis was long and grueling - we went through various tests for more than six months, and the planned surgery was delayed, which unfortunately allowed the disease to reach stage 3. Treatment began in December 2024, and Oleksandr bravely passed the first stage of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, as a result of complications, such as pulmonary embolism, therapy had to be adjusted to the new situation.
At present, Oleksandr is in the intensive care unit, which does not yet allow to assess the full effects of the treatment. Nevertheless, he remains a boy full of hope and optimism. He dreams of returning to sports, science and carefree moments with his family. He loves science subjects such as math and chemistry, and often mentions camping trips and fishing expeditions together.
As a father, I am by his side every day, trying to support him in this difficult struggle. I believe that his story will inspire others and show how much strength and courage children can have in the face of the most difficult challenges.
