We are reducing the side effects of Mariusz's treatment❗. Mariusz's fight for recovery is still ongoing. On Friday, July 19, 2024, it will be exactly three years since he has been under observation after completing cancer treatment. For the moment, the news is very positive - there is no relapse! Doctors assess his condition as very good, and we are keeping our fingers crossed that it stays that way. The only serious side effect that arose as a result of the long-term treatment is the trouble with fainting. Fortunately, thanks to the measures taken by the doctors, they are occurring less and less frequently. Our Warrior still needs support to cover the costs of medical appointments and travel to the hospital. He will undergo his next check-up in August 2024, and we believe it will bring positive news! Mariusz is fighting to get back into shape❗. The teenager, who won his battle with cancer, is now under neurological care for dangerous syncope. An MRI showed a deepened lordosis. Mariusz and his mother are waiting for a medical consultation date. They are asking for any support. Although the process of difficult cancer treatment has ended, trips to hospitals, tests and consultations with specialists are still necessary. May 7, 2024

In February 2022, Mariusz was diagnosed with malignant granulomatosis (Hodgkin's lymphoma), a stage III nodular sclerosis.
After the diagnosis, treatment was implemented. For six months he received chemotherapy. It was a difficult time for the boy and his entire family, but, as they say, "they made it"!
Tests performed at the end of chemotherapy administration showed that Mariusz no longer had any infiltration on his lymph nodes. There was even the possibility of a return to school. The boy is currently in his second year of follow-up after treatment. He feels well, but is under the care of a cardiologist, nephrologist and endocrinologist.
We are all keeping our fingers firmly crossed that the disease will never return, and that the side effects of the treatment will manage to disappear over time!
