Threat to life
The last ten months of treatment have been for Julia A constant balancing act between life and death. Complications that arose during the third chemotherapy protocol forced doctors to discontinue treatment. Her condition was then described as life-threatening. In its progression, the disease attacked the nervous system, causing infiltrations on the brain, while leading to extreme weakness throughout the body. At the beginning of 2025, when the disease was successfully put into remission, doctors decided to start early maintenance treatment. It was a signal that Julka was finally coming out of remission. Unfortunately, the optimism turned out to be premature.Dramatic effects of treatment
The treatment used, in the form of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, has left a huge mark. One of the most serious complications turned out to be bone necrosis, which progressed at an alarming rate. To stop the developing changes, surgery was required knees. And it's not over. Unfortunately, Another indication for surgery is both hips and the other knee. Julka does not move independently. She uses crutches or a wheelchair. An indispensable part of maintaining mobility is long and demanding rehabilitation, which requires great discipline and determination. The list of treatment effects continues to grow longer. Julia remains under the care of nephrologists and endocrinologists for kidney and adrenal disorders. Each day is a new challenge, and each successive stage of treatment is a struggle for her young body to withstand the hardships of recovery. October 27, 2025 Julka recently completed the second stage of treatment, which includes intensive HR blocks, and is now awaiting the third stage. This stage consists of three 28-day cycles, with the possibility of two additional maintenance cycles if needed. Julka is fighting with extraordinary determination, constantly overcoming adversity. Despite complications from chemotherapy, which require expensive treatment, she does not lose her fighting spirit. There have been moments of crisis and breakdown, but her strength and perseverance allow her to face even the most difficult moments. Julka is an example of true courage and hope. November 21, 2024

She enjoys spending her free time with friends, refuses to help anyone, and values freedom the most. Among her greatest passions, she lists painting and watching movies.
In May 2024, Julia's life changed dramatically, and the whole world of this charming teenager stood on its head. Exactly on May 25, the diagnosis was made: T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Previous plans and dreams had to go aside for the time being. The news, which fell like a bolt from the blue, shrunk the world of the teenager and her mother to a small hospital room in the "Cape of Hope."
The treatment process began very quickly and intensively, Julia was immediately transferred to the Intensive Care Unit. After a stay of several days, our Warrior was transferred to the Hematology Ward. Although she has no intention of giving up, she is terrified by the amount of medication she has to take each day and by medical procedures. Living in confinement and isolation is also giving her a hard time. She longs to live "in her own way" - after all, she is an ordinary teenager who has found herself in a very challenging situation.
Both Julka and her mother are in dire need of support right now. The difficult road is just beginning for them and no one can say how long it will last. Let's help them walk it and prevail!
