Update
Our Warrior was finally able to return to his family home! After a months-long battle in the hospital, the boy's condition allowed him to move on to the next stage of treatment, in which he will receive maintenance chemotherapy. Although this will last until April 2025 as planned, the most important thing is that the most difficult period has been survived! Still, this does not mean the end of Gabrys' struggle to return to full strength. The drug Exferana, which she has to take for a whole month, is not reimbursed. One dose costs about 300 zlotys, and our Hero needs seven such doses. Once treatment with chemotherapy is complete, Gabrys will need intensive rehabilitation to support his return to full physical form. We encourage you to support the (we hope) last straight of this very brave Warrior! He and his loving Mom have come a very long way and are getting closer to victory! September 18, 2024

The boy struggled with leg pains and felt very weak. The diagnosis finally confirmed the fears - he suffers from leukemia.
Gabrysio's trademarks are a wry smile , a heart ready to fight and an inexhaustible energy, which he shares with other Warriors staying in the ward. What Gabrysi misses most about the hospital is his favorite bicycle, which he loved to ride before the disease appeared, and his 3-year-old little brother, with whom he is very attached.
The boy's mother watches over him every day. Gabrys is undergoing chemotherapy, which he is enduring very bravely. The treatment will still take some time, but our Warrior has no doubt that in some time he will again get on his favorite bicycle, on which he will travel the world!
It's hard to beat a person who never gives up - and will you join Gabrysia's corner?
Any support is FREE for the boy and his family! Commuting to a hospital 100 kilometers away generates huge costs.
