Breakthrough moment in Antek's treatment
On Saturday On October 4, Antek received his last infusion of intensive chemotherapy! This is a milestone on the road he has traveled with courage and perseverance for so many months. Achieving this moment, so long awaited by loved ones, brought great joy and relief. Now is the time when it becomes most important to rebuild strength, regenerate the body and believe that this stage will pass peacefully - without complications and without more severe side effects.
Hope intertwined with caution
Although the intensive treatment phase has come to an end, Antek's fight is not over yet. A new chapter begins - maintenance treatment, which will last until January 2027. The most beautiful thing about this stage is that Antek will again be able to be at home more often, among loved ones, in the rhythm of everyday life that he missed so much. However, this is not a carefree return to normalcy. Still waiting for him visits to the hematology department in Gdansk, control tests and chemotherapy pills. Each of these steps is another step on the road to health and a small victory over the disease. "Thank you for being with us! For every message, every word of encouragement and every zloty of support. It is thanks to you that Antek has the strength to go through the next stages of treatment" Antoś's mom October 7, 2025Ahead of Antek is the toughest protocol in treatment so far
On July 22, the last chemotherapy protocol will begin, based on a set of cytostatics that were already taking a heavy toll on Antek's body. This time they will be administered at higher doses and in a more aggressive regimen. This is the most intensive stage of treatment to date, stretched over 50 days.Crucial to the effectiveness of therapy, but carrying a huge burden - both on the body and psyche of the child.
Silence before the toughest stage
Currently, thanks to a temporary improvement, Antek is staying at home. It's a precious time filled with simple joys, shared walks and breathing in the fresh air. Such a substitute for a vacation, which brings relief before returning to hospital daily life.Humor doesn't disappear, but strength can vary
Despite the difficulties, Antek is able to laugh, joke and engage in daily rituals. However, there are days when he needs more silence, more calm, more closeness. The family follows his rhythm. He learns to listen, support and be next to him.Ahead of them is the toughest test
This stage of treatment is both a medical challenge and an emotional marathon. Most importantly, thanks to your support, they can focus on what matters most: presence, love, and the hope that a world without disease awaits around this final bend. Keep your fingers crossed for Antek! July 15, 2025

The first symptoms were supposed to disappear after a few days
First there were enlarged lymph nodes. Doctors reassured - it was most likely a virus, maybe a bacterial infection. Routine tests were ordered. They were to confirm that everything was fine. Meanwhile, the results left no doubt. In an instant, Antek's familiar world ceased to exist. Instead of returning to school, he ended up in the hospital. Instead of planning a vacation - he started oncology treatment.
A diagnosis that cannot be tamed
T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. One of the most aggressive forms of blood cancer. Requires immediate intervention, months of therapy and total subordination of life to treatment. For Antek, it's a shock. For his family - fear that does not pass even for a moment. For doctors - a daily struggle for every parameter.
The toughest is still ahead of them
Antek's treatment will take a long time. A proper diet, supplementation, constant medical care and rehabilitation are needed for his body to survive the therapy. All this costs money, and the needs are growing every week.
