Disturbing symptoms and a diagnosis that changed everything
In March of this year, Anna felt a disturbing pulling and itching in her breast. She felt a hard, irregular thickening in it herself. She reported for an ultrasound, which showed no major abnormalities. Nevertheless, she had a mammogram just to be sure. The result confirmed the worst - the breast tumor had begun to grow, and subsequent tests showed sentinel node involvement. Diagnosis: Her2-3-positive non-hormonal breast cancer.
Dramatic body reaction and upcoming surgery
Ms. Anna has already undergone her first infusion in the hospital - targeted therapy involving Carboplatin, trastuzumab and pertuzumab. Unfortunately, her body reacted very badly - severe vomiting, high fever and debilitating diarrhea appeared. Doctors anticipate the need to completely remove one breast, as the tumor occupies a significant part of it. As a result, she still has a long and grueling road of treatment ahead of her.
Life on hold - a lonely struggle for each day
Ms. Anna's daily life changed completely after the diagnosis. She had to quit her job as a child care provider. She is not eligible for benefits and was left destitute. She takes care of her 16-year-old daughter, and is supported by her friends. Because of her poor health, she is unable to shop or clean her apartment on her own. She spends most of her time at home - she hasn't even been for a short walk in three weeks because she's afraid she'll lose consciousness.

The funds raised will be used for medicines, transportation for treatment, psychological consultations, as well as everyday items - such as head scarves, a wig, nutridrines and other strengthening products.
