Signs that have become a warning

Small marks on the body in the form of numerous petechiae and bruises that appeared without cause. This is how Alexander's medical history began. Then came an avalanche of more signals: facial pallor, enlarged lymph nodes and test results that were increasingly abnormal. Neutrophils were falling, liver tests were rising, and every day brought more questions than answers.

Diagnosis without escape

August 2025 Alexander's loved ones will remember forever. Doctors uttered words that were hard to take: B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In short order, Alexander underwent his first LPs, and a catheter was implanted in his chest to allow for the start of a long and demanding treatment.

Daily life filled with struggle

The first therapeutic protocol has been launched. The drugs - vincristine, doxorubicin, methotrexate and steroids - hit not only the disease cells, but also the fragile, developing body. Each stage means new weakness, more tests and constant vigilance. Mom keeps vigil at his bedside, and the whole family learns to live in a world where time counts from result to result.

Childhood confined within hospital walls

Just a short while ago, Alexander was immersed in the world of childhood - the simple joys of play, the warm arms of loved ones, carefree walks. Now his days flow in the rhythm of hospital corridors, in the shadow of white walls and medical procedures. For a child so young, it's a difference like between light and darkness - everything that was supposed to be the beginning of discovering life has suddenly stopped.
