Update
Post-operative period
After the surgery performed on August 27, the treatment plan was to switch to oral chemotherapy. Kacper only managed to take one dose. On November 4, PET scan results revealed new metastatic lesions. At the same time The leg with the endoprosthesis did not heal, and the body did not begin to regenerate.Another attempt at treatment
The medical team decided to resume chemotherapy administered via infusion. After the first dose there was a sharp deterioration in blood parameters. Platelets and blood transfusions were necessary, which prevented the treatment from continuing as planned. On December 18, another scheduled infusion could not take place. Kacper needed another transfusion, and The CRP level rose to 200. A severe bacterial infection of the endoprosthesis was diagnosed. When treatment requires immediate action
December 23 Kacper was taken to the operating room. The procedure was aimed at cleaning the wound and controlling the infection. Despite the measures taken, the wound reopened and the infection persisted. In this situation, further delay posed a real threat to life. The only way to prevent sepsis and stabilize the patient's condition was to perform an amputation. The point that changes everything
On January 7, his leg was amputated. Kacper is currently still in hospital. The most important goal is to manage his pain and gradually restore stability after the experiences of recent weeks.Treatment continues
The disease still requires intensive treatment. Kacper has metastases in his pelvis, where the tumor is about 6 cm, as well as in his lymph nodes and abdominal cavity. He faces further stages of radiotherapy, another course of chemotherapy, and a long rehabilitation process. The next stage that requires support
The amputation closed one dramatic chapter, but at the same time it opened up a new, very demanding stage of treatment. Kacper will need a specialized, highly specialized prosthesis. without which it will not be possible to return to basic independence or begin full rehabilitation. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the amount of the collection to meet the needs, that appeared after the operation and give Kacper a chance for further treatment and recovery.Thank you for being
This is one of the most difficult moments on this journey. We would like to thank everyone who is supporting Kacper and his loved ones. Your presence, support, and trust matter more today than ever before. February 4, 2026Behind Kacper two surgeries
July 17 The first operation took place, during which doctors excised the tumor and inserted an endoprosthesis. For a while, it seemed that everything was moving in the right direction. However, just a few weeks later, On August 27, another surgical intervention was required. An infection and rupture of the mesh at the endoprosthesis had occurred. Kacper's body was very weakened, but despite the pain and difficulties, the treatment continued. The next cycles of chemotherapy were a huge challenge for him.Intensive rehabilitation
Three months after the second operation, intensive rehabilitation began. Every day is a slow return to fitness, to movements that were obvious not long ago. The exercises are difficult, often painful, but they give hope. Every step, every movement is a sign that the body is beginning to cooperate again.Disturbing research results
Kacper remains under the constant care of doctors. Regular checkups are necessary, though each visit is a source of tension. The latest PET results did not bring good news. There are new developments in the picture - Metastases in the lymph nodes and sacrum. Additionally Genetic testing revealed the presence of a cancer gene. This means that the disease can recur, even after treatment ends.Continue for hope
Today Kacper has a lot behind him and even more ahead of him. Treatment, rehabilitation, further examinations, all of this requires tremendous effort. Despite the fatigue and uncertainty, he keeps trying, day after day. His family is with him all the time. They help, motivate, stick together. Because in such a struggle, there is no other way but to go on. November 12, 2025Ahead of Kacper is the next crucial stage of treatment
In mid-July, Kacper faces a major operation to remove the tumor with simultaneous implantation of a knee replacement. This is a difficult but extremely important step in his fight against soft tissue sarcoma. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support so far. Your presence and help allow him to go through the next stages of treatment with more peace and hope. Every gesture of support realistically brings him closer to health. Continue to be with him. Now - more than ever. July 9, 2025 Kacper is still awaiting surgery to remove the tumor and most likely remove the femoral and tibial parts and implant an endoprosthesis. Also crucial for the further stage of treatment will be the result of the genetic test, which was conducted in early February. The result may turn out to be decisive for what shape the further treatment of our protégé will take. April 1, 2025

The first tests did not foreshadowwere of imminent drama. After a surgical consultation , Kacper was referred for an X-ray and then to a hospital in Gorzow - to rule out cancerous lesions in thebone tissue. The CT scan gave hope and temporary peace of mindpeace: no cancer was found. The lesion waswas considered benign, not eligible for removal. A decision was made to observe it. It took fiveól year. The tumor was growing, but was not causing pain.ó pain. Checks wentwere on schedule, subsequent MRIs repeated the same conclusion: a harmless lesion. Even in July 2023, despite the obvious enlargement, no one thought it harbored any danger.

Reliable intuition of parentsof
Concerned about the lack of a clear diagnosis, Kacper's relatives decided to look elsewhere for answers. They ended up at an orthopedist, whowho - unlikeunlike previous doctors - was not contentwas content with the description of the examination. He carefully. He carefully compared the MRI image with the documentation and noticed worrying discrepancies. The decision thatórwas madewas unequivocal: it was necessary to act and it was imperative to determine what the lesion really was. A biopsy was ordered. The result was merciless - myxomasoft tissue myxoma of the left lower leg. Tumortumormalignant, whichwhichhad spread to the lungs, bones and chest. The fight for life began.
Chemotherapy is already underway
After a few cycles, decisions will be made on what to do next - But one thing is known for sure: Kacper is facing a difficult operation to remove theto remove the tumor with simultaneous implantation of a knee replacement.
At the same time , it is necessary to perform an expensive, unreimbursed genetic test. Only it will allow to adjusttreatment to the type of cancer and increase the chances that the body will respond to therapy. Time is not an ally here - everyeachódelay can come at a price.
