Simple fatigue turned out to be the beginning of a drama
By mid-June 2024, Hania was becoming increasingly weak. Her skin was losing its healthy color, and the previously energetic child was becoming quieter by the day. Concerned parents immediately went to the family doctor, who without delay ordered a blood count. The test results obtained left no doubt about the seriousness of the situation.
Merciless diagnosis
On the shoulders of Hania's family settled a burden that was too heavy to bear at any given time. However, the actions forced by the situation required those closest to her to gather their remaining strength. Hania was referred to a hospital ward. The diagnosis was unequivocal: B-type acute lymphoblastic leukemia. From the moment those words were spoken, the fight against time began. On the same day, preparations began for the seven-year-old to undergo intensive treatment. Every hour mattered.
The fight no one wants to fight - Hania must...
Hania is aware of the battle she has faced. She has 8 months of intensive chemotherapy ahead of her and another two years of maintenance therapy. She is brave and determined. She does not give up and does not rebel. The treatment so far is yielding results. The disease is in remission. However, it is important to remember that this is just the beginning of the road - a long and grueling one.
A future full of hope and cost
After treatment, Hania will need rehabilitation to regain her strength and physical shape. The family faces huge expenses for treatment, travel to the hospital, specialized diet, supplementation and aftercare. Together, we can make this road easier for Hania and her family.

We are raising funds for the treatment of children facing cancer.
Each ORLEN Superleague and ORLEN Women's Superleague club is joined by special players - wards of the Cancer Fighters Foundation. For each of them, we create a dedicated piggy bank so that fans and supporters can donate and directly support the children associated with their favorite club.
The first edition of the campaign showed the great power of the sports community - together we managed to raise as much as 161 thousand zlotys, which went to the treatment and support of little warriors! Now we are stepping up again to help more children in their most important match.
