Hania - a sister who does not give in to adversity

Hania is a happy and cheerful little girl whose life has been testing her from the very beginning. At the age of three, she was diagnosed with epilepsy, which she has been battling for years, and was also recently diagnosed with ADHD. In January 2024, she underwent a prophylactic abdominal ultrasound to rule out oncological problems - unfortunately, it showed ovarian cancer. Now the tumor has grown significantly, and doctors are analyzing its structure and planning further treatment. Hania is awaiting qualification for surgery, which could be crucial in her fight for health.

As if that wasn't enough, the girl has undergone genetic testing, as her younger sister Antosia suffers from a rare genetic disease that can also affect Hania's health. The family found itself in a dramatic situation - the girls' mother is constantly watching over both daughters, trying to provide them with the best medical care, despite enormous financial difficulties.

Tosia - a tireless warrior in the fight against neuroblastoma

Since her first months of life, Tosia has been battling stage IV neuroblastoma - an extremely aggressive cancer that has spread throughout her body. The disease has attacked her bones, liver, eye socket and even her bone marrow. She spent many months in the hospital, undergoing intensive chemotherapy that slowly prepared her for surgery.

Tosia is currently in her third year of follow-up after cancer treatment, but still undergoes very thorough whole-body examinations under anesthesia every three months. In March 2024, doctors detected focal lesions on the liver, which require further diagnostics and thorough examinations. Her situation is complicated - she has a fragment of a vascular catheter left in her body, which is impossible to remove due to surgical risks. Any infection is a potential threat to her life.

Tosia continues to struggle with the consequences of the disease - delayed speech development, neurological problems and the need for constant rehabilitation. Although she is full of strength and fights every day, her life is one of constant uncertainty, more check-ups and the stress of waiting for results.

One family, two great challenges

The girls' mother, who is raising them alone, faces enormous stress, logistical difficulties and high medical costs every day. Commuting to hospitals, medicines, necessary medical accessories, examinations - all this consumes huge resources that exceed the family's financial capacity.
