Mariusz runs 150 km for the Foundation

Almost three years ago Mariusz put on his running shoes and set off ahead, not expecting how much this decision would change his life. The beginnings were modest - a few kilometers, moments of fatigue and satisfaction. Over time, however, running became more than just a physical activity. It became his space - a place where he feels free, fulfilled and unlimited.

Every year he sets himself new challenges. The very first year he ran a marathon in under 4 hours. A year later he tackled an ultradistance - 100 kilometers around Lake Radun, in his hometown of Walcz. For him, each successive run is not only an attempt to overcome the distance, but also an internal struggle against his own weaknesses - a source of humility and strength.

Mariusz has set himself another ambitious challenge in 2025 - 150 kilometers from Walcz to Mielno, which he plans to run on May 24. This run will have a special meaning for him. In addition to achieving a personal goal, he wants to give it a deeper meaning. During the run there will be a collection for the Cancer Fighters Foundation, which supports children and adults in the fight against cancer. This is Mariusz's way of combining passion with real help for those who face the toughest opponent every day - cancer.

Running has taught him that limits exist mainly in the human head, and that a heart that beats to the rhythm of the kilometers covered can carry you much further than anyone could expect.
