When Martyna’s parents think of their daughter, they don’t see a hospital room. They see a little girl with crayons in her hand, who can draw for hours, rushes off to classes at the community center, and laughs at the pool and while horseback riding. Today, ten-year-old Martyna is facing acute myeloid leukemia instead of all that, and since the day of her diagnosis, the hospital ward has become her home. Together with her family, she is asking for support so that she can safely get through her treatment and return to the childhood that was cut short.
