The end of treatment. A moment that stays in the memory
July 25 Natalka has completed her treatment and stopped receiving chemotherapy. On August 5, during a check-up, her The family has received official word that the disease has subsided. The symbolic closing of this stage was Natalka hitting the VICTORY BELL, which in Cape means beginning of a new chapter. It was a moment full of emotion, immense relief and joy, which will long be remembered by all who accompanied her on this journey.Constant health monitoring
Natalka remains under regular care of doctors. She receives check-ups every three months at Cape Hope, and is additionally monitored by an endocrinologist and a nephrologist. Constant observation is an important part of aftercare, allowing us to watch over her health with full attention.A chance to return to a normal childhood
After a visit to the infectious disease clinic, the possibility arose that the Natalka will be able to attend kindergarten. It's a step the whole family has been waiting for, because it means a return to an everyday life so long unavailable and so eagerly awaited. November 13, 2025Slowly the light is coming back
This is the final straight! If everything goes according to plan, chemotherapy will end on July 25. Behind Natalia are long months of demanding treatment, which have left traces deeply rooted both in the girl's body and emotions. Although the pain in her tummy is still sometimes a reminder of the road traveled, with each passing day the signs of resurgent strength are becoming clearer. There was a glow in Natalka's gaze again. The body, strained by months of intensive therapy, still demands care. The weakened liver and drug-induced nephrocalcinosis require special vigilance and long-term care. This is still not the end of the battle, but a new stage in which regeneration becomes the most important task. The family asks for your continued support - with gratitude and humility.June 27, 2025
Just when it seemed that the worst was over, more challenges arose
In March 2024, Natalka completed an intensive phase of treatment and was finally able to return home. Since April, she has continued her therapy in the form of maintenance treatment, which involves taking chemotherapy in pills. It's a chance to spend time with loved ones outside the hospital walls. Although returning home has brought joy, treatment is still ongoing. Every week Natalka has blood tests, and once a month she shows up for check-ups at the oncology clinic.New difficulties and health problems
Despite great determination, new challenges arose. Increasingly, Natalka complained of abdominal pain. Tests showed elevated liver transaminases, making the liver require special protection and support. The girl has to follow a strict diet and take medication to support liver regeneration. She also continues to struggle with low immunity, so she avoids places with lots of people. The daily struggle for normalcy
Although the treatment has weakened her body, Natalka still has a lot of energy and desire to play. She is most looking forward to the day when she will be able to play with other children without restriction and return to her usual daily life, of which she has been deprived for so long. Support is still needed so that Natalka can continue her therapy and gradually recover. September 25, 2024

Inconspicuous beginnings of the disease
Initially, there was no indication of a serious illness. Natalka began to lose her appetite, she was getting weaker, bruises and bleeding appeared on her skin. Parents tried to believe that this was temporary, that the body would cope on its own. However, over time, the symptoms worsened. Tests brought a definitive answer. The diagnosis: B-type acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Hospital instead of home
After the diagnosis, Natalka was taken to "Cape of Hope", where she immediately began chemotherapy. Natalka is fighting for her health, but cancer treatment is a long and grueling process. Chemotherapy weakens the entire body, and each cycle carries the risk of complications that can arise at any time.
Days are filled with IVs, tests and waiting for the next results, on which the further course of treatment depends. Home has turned into a hospital, where treatment leaves no room for anything else.
Treatment consumes more and more
Oncology treatment is not limited to ward stays and the medications administered there. With each passing week, new needs arise in the form of supportive medications, additional consultations and tests, and costs associated with travel to various medical facilities. With each passing month, the scale of these expenses becomes more and more difficult to bear for Natalka's family, which has already been living the rhythm of therapy for months.
