Farewell
Throughout his illness, Janusz was cared for by his loved ones and surrounded by affection, which carried him through the most difficult moments. His journey was demanding and full of trials—right to the very end. On behalf of the Foundation, we offer our sincere condolences to Janusz's loved ones. Our thoughts are with his family and all those affected by this loss. We thank you for your presence, support, and sensitivity at every stage of this journey. Your gestures were meaningful and will remain a testament to the good that happened along the way. Janusz will remain in our memory. January 26, 2026URGENT! Change in treatment
The medical team has made a decision. decision to implement Trodelvy therapy. At this stage, it is the last available treatment option, on which the further course of the fight against the disease depends. Unfortunately, The first doses of the drug are not reimbursable., and without providing them, therapy cannot begin. Time is working against us! The funds must be collected by the end of February. Every donation, every share, and every form of support now has immediate significance. This is a moment when time is of the essence! January 16, 2026
Explore the history of
Ignored symptoms
For three years, Janusz's body had been sending subtle signals. Fatigue that wouldn't go away despite rest, chest pain and a growing sense of weakness. He reported to doctors, hoping that someone would connect these symptoms into a coherent whole. Instead of a diagnosis, he heard: "It's just stress," "More exercise will do you good," "It's probably neuralgia."
Even when the pain became unbearable and Janusz called an ambulance, his suffering was attributed to hypochondria - oversensitivity.
Only months full of tests, new symptoms and increasingly worrisome results led to a diagnosis. Too late, but still.
Cancer and chart without map
The cancer was diagnosed - a rare one, with a course that escapes typical patterns and a prognosis that differs from classic cases of testicular cancer.Treatment with chemotherapy was startedand formally completed. Unfortunately, the hope for peace was premature - tumor markers began to rise again.
English description
For three years, Janusz experienced persistent fatigue, chest pain, and growing weakness. Despite multiple medical visits, his symptoms were attributed to common conditions such as stress or nerve pain. It wasn't until his health had significantly declined that he was diagnosed with a rare type of testicular cancer. He has undergone chemotherapy, but unfortunately, his tumor markers are rising again-and there is still no clear treatment plan.
At just 23, Janusz is now facing cancer with limited options in his home country. His best hope lies in accessing specialized care abroad, possibly through a clinical trial or advanced therapies not yet available in Poland. This path comes with high costs: medical consultations, travel, legal support, and ongoing diagnostics. Janusz is not asking for much-just for hope, and a chance to fight for his life.
